Dr. Valentine’s educational journey took him through the University of Mississippi in Oxford, MS, where he completed his undergraduate studies. His medical path led him to graduate from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, MS, in 2001. Afterward, he pursued an internship at the University of Tennessee Medical Center (Erlanger) in Chattanooga, TN, and went on to complete his training in 2007 at the Greenville Health System Medical Center in Greenville, SC.
With over a decade of experience, Dr. Valentine has been practicing in Hendersonville and Nashville since 2007, dedicating his skills to treating a diverse range of medical conditions. His primary focus is on minimally invasive surgery, and since 2016, he has been at the forefront of robotic-assisted surgical techniques.
Dr. Valentine’s expertise extends to performing robotic-assisted surgeries for various conditions, including colonic diseases such as polyps, diverticulitis, and cancer, as well as hiatal hernia (reflux) repair, ventral/incisional (abdominal) hernia repair, and inguinal (groin) hernia repair.
What sets Dr. Valentine apart is his commitment to patient care. He takes the time to thoroughly address any questions, often using diagrams to aid in explaining treatment options. His goal is to offer the least invasive approaches, allowing patients to swiftly return to their active lifestyles.
