With your Patient Portal account you will have ongoing access, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, to ensure you feel connected throughout your journey with us.
- Through your portal you can view your test results, check lab reports and personal health records, and message your surgeon directly to discuss any potential concerns or questions about your treatment plan to help you as you are preparing for your procedure.
- We will set up a portal account for you, typically at your first clinic appointment. If you would like it set up in advance, please call your clinic to make a request. You will receive your login and password instructions within 24 hours via email.

Once insurance claims are settled, patients have 30 days to pay any remaining balance or to make arrangements for payments. Failure to do so provides The Surgical Clinic the right to contact a collection agency for collection of all unpaid balances and all fees accrued for this service will be added to the unpaid balance. Questions About Insurance
Contact Your Personal Insurance Provider
The Surgical Clinic accepts most insurance coverage options, but you want to make sure your specific policy is included by calling your insurance company. Surgeons are considered to be “specialists” by most insurance plans, meaning that most require a referral form from your primary care physician, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant before you can have an office visit with a surgeon. Without prior authorization, the surgeon will be unable to see you. You can make sure your appointment goes smoothly by providing your referring doctor the name and fax number of the surgeon you a planning to see.
Questions About an Unexpected “Surprise” Bill

There is a possibility you might receive a bill from a provider who is not in your insurance network, even if you did not choose them. This is called “balance billing” and it can be unexpected and expensive, the No Surprises Act is a federal law that helps protect you from these unexpected bills. If you think you received a “Surprise Bill”:
