A native Tennesseean, Dr. Patrick Davis grew up in Chattanooga, and his wife is from Brentwood. Dr. Davis is a board-certified surgeon serving Nashville, Brentwood, and the Tennessee region, offering minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgical procedures.
Seeing patients gain a new lease on life is the most rewarding part of Dr. Davis’ job, taking pride in ensuring each patient is treated like a family member.
While out of the office, Dr. Davis values time spent with his wife and 2 children. They are Tennessee sports fans, supporting the Vols, Preds, and Titans. Dr. Davis performs general and emergency surgeries in addition to specialized bariatric and robotic surgeries. Procedures for simple lesions or ‘lumps and bumps’ are performed right in the clinic, while more invasive or riskier surgeries occur in the hospital.

“One of the things that drew me towards doing a fellowship in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery was the potential to embrace new technologies as they come out. In my fellowship, I did a lot of advanced laparoscopy, which in turn brings with it a lot of decreased postoperative pain, faster recoveries, and quicker return to normal activities. It also allowed me to venture into the field of robotics. We’re now able to perform a lot of surgeries robotically that laparoscopically were quite a challenge.”
