Meet Dr. Reynolds

“Laparoscopic surgery has been a big revolution over the last 20 years. It initally started with us doing laparoscopic appendectomy but has evolvedd into more complex surgeries like ventral hernia repairs, colon resections, and advanced anti-reflux surgery. I have a special interest in hernia surgery, abdominal wall reconstruction and acid reflux treatment, which are very well-suited to minimally-invasive surgeries.”

Gallbladder disease & surgery

Dr. Drew Reynolds, general surgeon at The Surgical Clinic, explains one of the most common operations performed in the United States – gallbladder surgery. Dr. Reynolds thoroughly presents the nature of gallbladder disease and gallbladder surgery in this video. One of the livers most important jobs is to make a digestive juice called bile that trickles down through bile ducts that are connected to a storage sac, AKA the gallbladder. It’s very common for gallstones to form within the gallbladder along with other diseases.
