Daryl Farler, CPA
Certified Prosthetic Assistant
Daryl Farler earned his undergraduate degree in finance from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and later became a Certified Prosthetic Assistant. His personal journey as an amputee, having lost both legs below the knee in 2006 following a dog scratch infection, led to his career change. Daryl recognizes the impact prosthetics can have on the quality of a person’s life.
Daryl has become an advocate for amputees, founding Amputee Support Association, a peer support group. He is an avid runner, participating in events on specialized prosthetic running to demonstrate the capabilities of those with amputations. He is not one to sit back and watch. Daryl is making a difference by leading others who have gone through amputation or who are learning how to live with a new prosthetic.
Daryl Farler is giving care to patients in the Nashville, Tennessee area at the Prosthetics Institute location. The Surgical Clinic of Middle Tennesse is proud to have him as part of their dedicated team.
